It's been a while ....

When I think that making ATC is what lead me to making cards, and was such a great passion for me, passion... gosh I should say addiction .... I can't believe that I don't make ATC anymore or so few... Well, life changes so does our evolution through Art...
I do, once in a while participate in one of my groups monthly ATC lottery. For September I felt inspired by the theme... "alcohol inked, polished stone, caught in crystal, anything using alcohol ink". I love playing with Alcohol inks and the TJ smooch tech is one of my favorite! Thanks for stopping by!

This Faux Fresco background was fun and easy to do. Mainly using wax paper, ModPodge, cardstock, sanding block, embossing folder and ink!
I wanted to add fabric flowers but mine where plain so I just stamped on it!

Splatered ink technique!

Hello my friends I'm still in this world... LOL... but very busy going to the beach, the pool and enjoying Naples in Florida so it's not easy to keep up with creating when the sun is out there! I did manage to participate in one mingle the theme is " Splatered Technique " from Tim Holtz. I love all what Tim Holtz does so it was a lot of fun doing those cards. I must say that I did a few things my way but the results are very much the same! For the first card I will show 3 steps, here goes: The background is done with splatered alcohol inks (my way). Stamping credits Tim Holtz. Final mounted card. OTHER CARDS Background Technique: Alcohol ink splater. Stamp credit: Unknown... Background Technique: Alcohol ink splater. Stamp credit: Magenta. Friends Birthday!

Two of my wonderful friends are celebrating their birthday soon. I made these cards for them. I love this technique ... " Torn paper image". Stamps the same image on 3 different color of paper ... tear the papers and align so it will complete the image. It's like a puzzle... I embellished with Rhine stones, ribbon, paper flowers and text on the right. The text is beautiful... It says something like " The most beautiful flower loses its beauty... but a true friend last for eternity" (my translation)!!!

For this one I have been having fun playing with my Cuttlebug... I love those embossing borders... it allows lots of creativity!

Ok now, the envelopes and in the mail...!

Mission accomplie....!

Oufffff... all done! Hello my friends, last week I finished making my Christmas cards! I must say that I'm happy about it. I was looking forward to do other themes... LOL! So here are my last cards. A technique for TJ "Alcohol ink smoosh" . I also added a cuttlebug layer in the background.

Simple but so much fun to do ... woven ribbons in a Christmas ornament...!

Another TJ technique and this one I love to do.... " Cuttlebug Glow " done on acetate using Lumière Paint and different colors of ink.

Very soft colors of " Alcohol ink smoosh" used for this one. Background stamping in clear embossing powder.

So this is it for this year's Christmas cards... I had fun doing those and will continue with more cards in the up coming year. Hope you enjoy your visit!

New additions

Hello/Bonjour!

I haven't been very active lately but this week end I made these 2 cards.

"GINGO"... the stamp from Sandi Miller was colored with Artquest Mica color. It is such fun to work with and the colors are amazing.

"NÉNUPHARS"... Unfortunately I do not have the name of the stamp company. Here again the colors are from Artquest but I chose the Watercolor Palette. The saying is one of my favorites the stamp is from Outline.
