Prends plaisir dans la vie!

Hello my friends.
Take pleasure in life is another TJ technique called "Double Bugging" from Debbie Bankston who was the originator of this simple and special technique! I found it quite nice to do and creative to put together 2 cuttlebug embossing folders that fit well together...
Cuttlebug floders (2).
Wording from Stamping up.

Beauty of Nature

This Faux Fresco background was fun and easy to do. Mainly using wax paper, ModPodge, cardstock, sanding block, embossing folder and ink!
I wanted to add fabric flowers but mine where plain so I just stamped on it!
The theme was flowers...

Friends Birthday!

Two of my wonderful friends are celebrating their birthday soon. I made these cards for them. I love this technique ... " Torn paper image". Stamps the same image on 3 different color of paper ... tear the papers and align so it will complete the image. It's like a puzzle... I embellished with Rhine stones, ribbon, paper flowers and text on the right. The text is beautiful... It says something like " The most beautiful flower loses its beauty... but a true friend last for eternity" (my translation)!!!

For this one I have been having fun playing with my Cuttlebug... I love those embossing borders... it allows lots of creativity!

Ok now, the envelopes and in the mail...!

Mission accomplie....!

Oufffff... all done! Hello my friends, last week I finished making my Christmas cards! I must say that I'm happy about it. I was looking forward to do other themes... LOL! So here are my last cards. A technique for TJ "Alcohol ink smoosh" . I also added a cuttlebug layer in the background.

Simple but so much fun to do ... woven ribbons in a Christmas ornament...!

Another TJ technique and this one I love to do.... " Cuttlebug Glow " done on acetate using Lumière Paint and different colors of ink.

Very soft colors of " Alcohol ink smoosh" used for this one. Background stamping in clear embossing powder.

So this is it for this year's Christmas cards... I had fun doing those and will continue with more cards in the up coming year. Hope you enjoy your visit!

Like all of you I like to have some spare cards just in case.... I'm never empty handed if an occasion arrives and it also gives the opportunity to try some techniques that I've never done before... Here are some of my latest cards.....
Cutllebug Glow "Thank you" card!
I love this technique... !
Cuttlebug Christmas Tree. This card has been done with golden foil paper so the picture didn't come out well. Sorry...!

Black & White daisies...!

Here I've been mostly playing with my Nestabilities... trying to figure out how to make them work with my Cuttlebug... finaly I cracked up the secret ... so now I'm happy! LOL!

Quiet week...

Hello, Bonjour!

I've been quiet but not inactive... quiet because I had bronchitis but it still allowed me to be a little creative...

HAPPY 60Th KAREN....!

I did this Birthday card for a very close friend of mine. Since I was sick it's quite simple. Done with cuttlebug and colored with chalk... the Birthday greeting is from Inkadinkadoo.

A QUIET DAY...

The next card was done as part of our monthly lottery, the theme is Scenery. I cannot tell you from which company the stamp is as I bought on EBay. I stamp in black and embossed in black then colored with my LuminArte Twinkling H20's to give a watercolor effect.

TO KILL 2 BIRDS WITH ONE STONE....
That is what I did by combining our monthly sketch challenge and our color challenge... I like the result. It's is very simple scrapbook paper cutting and I used a Chipboard Journaling Plaque covered with the same background paper and stamped with "Luni stamps" French thank you ! Et voilà!
