Crop & Make & takes

Our card marking group organized a day of crop and make & take at Scrapbook Centrale.
We where over 20... no need to say that the instructors where very tired when we left!

This is what I manage to accomplish and finish....!

You can't see it but we used a very nice glitter that gives a velvety finish the more you rub it
We also used Peel off.

Nice use of Embossing folder and shinny red paper as a background.  The poinsettia
is a peel off color and covered with glitter.

The background has been stamped and covered with glitter.
The Christmas tree is a 4 pieces die cut.

Add This one is my favorite.. the stamp was covered with watercolor markers
misted with water and stamped.... which gives a beautiful watercolor effect.
Love it!!!

Done with Delusion spray and then the leaves where washed out with water
to be color with markers...! It's pretty and easy !

So I think my Christmas card making is pretty much done.

If you like what you see please leave a comment I love to read what you think!

Write again soon.  Take care.♥

Altered Counter top samples

Hello Bloggers and friends!

Part of art is taking a mundane object and turning it to an unexpected, inventive purpose. That’s just what I’ve done with kitchen countertop samples that take on a new life as very beautiful book covers. The cover has been decorated with a metal and glass birdhouse. Some inside pages have been embellish with bird theme stamps.

I used the 4-needle Coptic stich and it is 3½ x 5 inches and has 32 pages.

I'd like to enter the following challenge.....

Craft Room:  Alter it.

Listen to your heart.

Good evening !

Today I played with my Distress ink to get a watercolor effect but in a different manner than spritzing it with water .... I wanted the layer of to blend but not to much... sooooo I blended with my brush and a tiny bit of water on it..... and I love the result...!

The hardest part was doing the scoring around my painting.  This is the requirement of the challenge I was doing this card for!... After serious thoughts (LOL)  I found a way!

So here is "Listen to your heart".

I love this stamps it's from Memory Box.  Wording is in French and from Stamping up!

Beautiful

Yup, another one for today.... and it's a Tag, something I don't do often, not sure why because the possibility are great!

This one has been done with Tim Holtz Distress Summer colors  applied randomly then spritz with water for the watercolor effect background.

Some of my favorite stamps from Graphic 45 and the master piece, beautiful vintage women stamped on acetate to let the background show!

Some lace, some chipboard on the side a ribbon and that it.  OH! I almost forgot the Bling... love those!

I am entering this tag in the following challenges:

You're the best!

Hello, Hello....

I'm back after 3 months.  Our trip in the Western US was fabulous.   I can't say that it was all rest but
God it was soooo beautiful and inspiring.  I'm back full of energy with a million ideas.  I haven't created anything while on our road trip.  So you can understand that I was really happy to find my craft room when I came back!

I didn't know where to start at first so I went to see my friend Mel she is the proud owner of Passion Collimagination.  So this project is in part inspired by her.

Merci Mel...!

That is it for now I will be back soon with more.

Take care my friends

Hello my Blogger friends

For the next 3 months this Blog will be kind of inactive ... In fact you might get to see some fabulous pictures .... We are heading for California so, I guess you can imagine.  We will be going in Utah's marvelous state parks: Moab, Scion, Great Arches and others.  Also we should go to Colorado and Yellow Stone park... and then all of the West Coast.  We will be coming back on the Canadian side so it will be Vancouver the Mounties, the Prairies and Ontario and finally back home around September...!

Cheers for now and enjoy your summer and keep on creating!
